Capturing Essence to me was built around the word 'Essence' because I love the spirit of the human race. I love the basic instincts we have, and I love being able to capture absolutely whole hearted, un-planned, un-scripted moments where the couples do not have control over their reactions.

I adore couples; their stories intrigue me, delight me, and often make me cry with joy on their wedding day.

I find the more you think about your photographs the bigger the fun, and the better the images can be. I enjoy getting to know my couples and finding out what makes you special as individuals, and also as a couple. I love tying in this knowledge to your wedding day and creating a fun, inspiring environment.

I am light hearted, I find life amusing, and like being surrounded by similar individuals. I work excessively hard, I am a detail addict and I ADORE my job.

I have been photographing since a little girl and decided to study through college. I studied Industrial Design at the University of Canberra and a large part of that was graphic design and photography. My love continued to grow and develop into the business you see today.

I have a husband and 18 month old who are my world. I love sport both watching and playing. I fiercely follow the Wallabies- even when they aren't winning.
